Joyce Nyarkoa Asare holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Ghana, Legon. She worked briefly with Ubex Security before joining the Foundation as an Administrative Assistant.

She did her National Service training at the National Identification Authority. She also gained teaching experience at Golden Gate International School in Kumasi after the National Service.
