Kufuor Scholar Elected NUGS Executive
Kufuor Scholar Peter Darkwah has been elected Finance Secretary of the National Union of Ghanaian Students (NUGS).
He takes up the national position after serving as local NUGS president for the University of Education Winneba Mampong campus and also the unified local NUGS president of all 4 campuses of the university.
At the 52nd annual residential delegates’ congress of NUGS in 2018, he served as a secretary to the congress steering committee.
His major duty as financial secretary is to keep the daily financial records of the union and engage in advocacy to help reshape discourse on Ghana’s education.
Darkwah is seen as an exceptional individual with integrity, professionalism and excellence as his hallmark.
He is also a passionate fellow with the spirit of volunteerism and dedication to duty.
Darkwah is a member of the Kufuor Scholars Program class of 2020.
