Two of our alumni, Oprah Anakwah and Faddal Ibrahim, emerged first-place winners at the UNICEF StartUp Lab π¨π° πππ π°ππππππππ π³πππππππ π―ππππππππ.
This yearβs challenge focused on designing an AI-powered solution to support the development of a harmonized Ghanaian Sign Language (GSL) dictionary. Their team built a platform that goes beyond the dictionary, offering practical learning tools for families, teachers, and anyone interested in GSL, alongside literacy support and accessibility features for visually impaired users. To ensure true inclusivity, the platform additionally provides accessibility features tailored to visually impaired users.
